Despite insurance being a pain, I quickly looked up companies who could fix interior/exterior damage so it would be less of a hassle on our end with insurance. Come to find out they take care of the insurance part too! (as long as the insurance company cooperates, right). I was also 8-9 months pregnant at the time and we needed a whole new roof and water damage repaired, so I was pretty stressed not wanting to bring a newborn home with our roof being redone. They were able to get everything done before the baby was born! They made this so stress free for us.
